With the membership of the Chester Credit Union at just over 1000, and with a loan and membership portfolio which continues to grow it was evident that more administration capacity was required.

We are delighted to have come to an arrangement with Chester and District Housing Trust to move into a larger space at our present address, thus giving more scope to continue to provide and outstanding service to all our members, while at the same time creating an improved working environment for all volunteers and paid staff.  This extra space will provide room for at least six work stations and separate workstations for the manager and other volunteers.

 These changes will mean that members who choose to visit our membership office (based in Newtown) will have the facility of a confidential meeting room.

We expect to move into the new office in early October and we are always looking for potential new volunteers to help us run the business.
